Best known as the Lead Anchor of CCN's flagship program 'The TV6 News'. She's been sitting at that news desk since 2006.
She has conducted numerous live interviews including former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday, PSA President Watson Duke, Port of Spain Mayor Louis Lee Sing and former Minister in the Ministry of Finance Mariano Browne.
Her news desk story began as Entertainment News Presenter and Producer at Synergy TV. With that newsroom experience under her belt, it was an easy transition to journalism's #1 Anchor Desk. Still there were earlier TV stints. Presenter of 'Ah Ketch Yuh' aired at TTT and cohost for 'Sound Stage', a CCN TV6 production.
She has also presented the News at Noon, TV6 News at 10 and the TV6 Weekend News. Presenter and Producer for the '2006 Year in Pictures' and 'The Extended Interview.
Among other stories, Samantha anchored the coverage of the World Cup in Germany, the 2009 Trinidad & Tobago General Elections and the UFF Commission of Enquiry. In April 2012, she conducted the exclusive interview with TV Crime Watch Host, Ian Alleyene, the night of his arrest.
